The staff was excellent! Phil, at the pool bar was engaging, kind and made great drinks. The rooms are dark, with lights only by the bed. the pool was warmer than the air and not refreshing, but the surroundings are beautiful.

Noisy, but good value
First off, this property is a MOTEL. All doors open to outside, very poor noise control. We could listen to what our neighbors were watching on TV and hear their conversations. That said, there appear to have been updates in side. Room and lobby refreshed and clean. Usual generous Fairfield breakfast. There is a resort fee but there is good value in that, free beverages, a free shuttle to the rest of Key West. I would stay here again.

Our room was large and having a separate area with couch and TV was lovely. The king bed was really comfortable. As far as Key West pricing goes, this was a good deal. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star review is our room was right next to the road which literally is the intersection of the highway to Key West. We needed ear plugs to sleep! A room on the inside or back of building would have been much quieter
