10/10 Exceptional

Comfort and accessibility

I would recommend CABINN Copenhagen, as excellent accommodation in the city- centrally positioned for rail and bus links, the hotel has a positive and friendly vibe for. Visitors. I was in Copenhagen for business and the internet connection and services, including a wholesome breakfast, greatly helped my stay.

A warm room and a noisy street just outside, hard to get the children to find peace and go to sleep. Besides that an ordinary hotel on walking distance from Copenhagen Central Station

The hotel is clean , however we had 2 fire alarm evacuations on both the 2 nights I stayed which was frustrating , breakfast is basic but fine, room was very hot with no way of making it cooler unless you have the window open which is then very noisy

For what we paid this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Pay no more than 50 euro and you’ll get what you exspect.

Not super clean, shower wouldn't drain and would overflow bathroom, fire alarm went off at 2am and woke us all up.

Room too small for two people. Not enough toiletries. Individual butters etc. Breakfast similar to school dinners.

2/10 Poor

awful hotel. Check in at 11pm at night took 50 minutes. The front desk also serve people with beer / crisps etc and the people who take a ticket for this are PRIORITISED over those checking in. Genuinely awful place, fire alarm on 2nd night that was dreadfully managed. Location is crap. Avoid at all costs.
Elliott, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

You have to get a number just to ask a simple question at reception and we got woken up at 6 am to blaring fire alarms with no explanation

You will not get any service here, I meet only one guy at the reception that was friendly and service minded. The others just look at you strange if you have a question or in need for some help. Sleep will not be good either, bring ear plugs for sleep. Breakfast is poor and not so good.

Good hotel let down by nightmare check-in process

Many good points - very clean, comfy room, good buffet breakfast to start your day - staff helpful - luggage store and gym etc Close to Dybblosbro rail station. We would go back but see below ref check-in chaos... Check-in was an absolute nightmare - a scrum of tired guests in several long queues trying to get service. The self-check in screens didn't work - the ticket machine for service didn't work - everyone getting annoyed and upset - including the staff and who could blame them?? This is a senior management / IT / process problem that needs to be fixed.

Expensive Parking, Difficult Bikes, and Tiny Bathr

Parking is paid and costs about 90 USD for 2 nights. Payment must be made through an app like epark. I remember the bike rental fee being 27 USD per day. The bikes are difficult for beginners to ride. The staff’s attitude was unpleasant when I requested a refund for the bike rental. Check-in is very slow. Like at a bank, you have to take a number and wait more than 15 minutes, and you also have to take another number and wait again just to make inquiries. The key oaks check-in couldn’t find my reservation information and kept asking for a lot of information like my address, but ultimately the check-in failed. The bathroom in the room is extremely small and can barely accommodate one person. There are only 3 disposable body wash packets, and once you use them all, you have to pay to buy more. When you open the windows, it’s very noisy, and when you close them, it’s hot. Overall, this is a place I do not recommend.

Poor service, terrible hotel, rude staff. Don’t!!

Dreadful. This is basically a hostel in all but name! I appreciate it is a “budget” hotel chain (though £160 per night wouldn’t support this assertion), but having to take a ticket and queue for an average of 40 mins to speak to reception or buy a drink from the cafe is poor and the reception staff are quite possibly the rudest and most inconsiderate set I have ever came across. To be fair, by the time you have eventually got to speak to one of them, I suspect most of their ‘guests’ are already thoroughly cheesed off… but the rudeness, demeanour, and general lack of any level of common courtesy is evident regardless. The one redeeming feature was breakfast which whilst self service - with prison style trays - does at least offer a reasonable selection which allows some redemption from what is otherwise a pretty horrible experience. Lastly, they don’t offer any room service at all regardless of how long you are staying unless you book it the night before. This place is an expensive dive and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you otherwise have to stay there as Copenhagen is so expensive.
Stephen, 3-night trip

One of the worst hotels in Europe

Absolutely one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in nearly a decade, and I am a high frequent business traveller. First of all Copenhagen is already expensive but this property presented itself as a 3 star on hotels.com. It is absolutely not a 3 star. It is a 1 star and hotels.com needs to seriously address this matter. The rooms are not only extremely small which I felt likely were converted from white-collar prison cells, but the hotel is filthy. The noise levels are absolutely out of the ordinary and like many other reviewers I did experience the random fire alarm at 1 AM in the morning. Unless you absolutely cannot afford anything else spend a little bit of extra money and don’t make the same mistake that I made. Avoid this place and be weary of the fake review reviews which makes it sound better than it actually is. Also, the gym is a decrepit facility with the equipment either not working half broken or in extremely poor condition. Thankfully, I avoided the morning breakfast, which simply smelling the food tells you it would be a poor experience. Avoid this place!

Not up to standard even for a budget hotel

The room felt neglected from the start. There was visible dust on surfaces like the desk and shelves, which gave the impression it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. The ventilation was dusty, loud and overpowering. It blew air so forcefully that it dried out the room and made it hard to sleep comfortably. Combined with the dust, it triggered some irritation in my throat and nose. The bathroom was in poor condition. There was visible mold in the corners of the shower area, especially around the silicone joints. On arrival, I found hair on the drain, which clearly showed that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly between guests. The bed was noisy and squeaked every time I turned over, which made it hard to get a restful night. On top of that, the walls were thin. I could hear conversations, TVs, and footsteps from the neighboring rooms and hallway, which added to the disturbance. I got woken up several times because people were coming in and out of the hallway at all hours during the night. Self-service check-in was a bottleneck. The kiosks didn’t work resulting in lines that stretched through the lobby. You could wait 30 minutes for a key card. Check-out showed the same issue.
