Lost Points for Cleanliness
Overall, the experience was okay. I think my most negative observation was the cleanliness (or lack there of) of the bathroom. The shower curtain was absolutely filthy. There was blood on it, including a bloody booger with hair. That was disgusting to see when going to shower. There were also questionable stains on the towels.

A most enjoyable stay
Warm staff, excellent restaurant and staff. Nice amenities in the room. Convenient location. Taxis present.

Exceptional 10.0
Beautiful room, terrible beds.
My boyfriend & I stayed in the presidential suite for four days, three nights. The room was huge and in relatively great shape. Only flaws were a couple cabinets were broken, the patio had NO furniture/tables as advertised, NO slippers/robes as advertised and a couple light bulbs were out and most flickered in the bedroom/walk in closet area. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous!! Huge walk in shower with three jets, and a tub inside the walk-in shower made for the most relaxing time. The couches and chairs were all comfortable, our only complaint was that the bed was AWFUL. Like.... absolutely terrible. It was genuinely no different than sleeping directly on the floor, there was no bounce it was just completely rock hard. Although we loved the room I don't think I would stay again simply due to the back pain and lack of sleep. The second night we moved to sleep on the couch, and the third night we tried the bed again and ended up waking up and going to the couch. If the beds were replaced I would absolutely make this my go-to hotel. We stay in Boston once a week every month, but these beds were literally so awful, and we're not even that picky. Overall though, beautiful room.

Unexpected fee!
Had a $25 "destination fee" charged at hotel checkin even though I paid total incl. taxes & fees up front via your website. Not transparent...not happy about this!

Fabulous
Spotless clean. Free clam chowder every night. Centrally located.

Good 6.0
The hotel is beautiful and our city view was very nice. I wasn't aware of the $50 incidental charges or the $25 charge per night per room for the random list of things I had access to like a yoga class, the free bowl of chowder (that wasn't really free it was $25),

A+ for Hyatt
Hyatt is one of my favorite hotel chains, and the Boston Hyatt lived up to my expectations. Great hotel. Comfortable room. Pet friendly. Staff is extremely helpful and great natured.

Pleasant stay
Perfect location for a night at the Opera House. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Ate dinner at Avenue One: food was good but service was so slow! A plus was that they do have a kids menu.
