Although a bit disappointed at first (the hotel is not as the photos suggest in a castle, but next to it, with an internal corridor to it) we had a pleasant stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful, room a little small and outdated (who uses ISDN in 2024?). Breakfast was served in a big "ballroom" of the castle and was very good. Also tried the pool, not that big but good for a short swim. Close to the city although one night we had to walk a big detour as the main road was closed for a musical event.

Would stay again. Just needed fans or the ability to keep the windows open all night without bugs or mosquitoes. So a screen and the window opening from the top. Being on the bottom floor with the walking path by our window made it uneasy to keep the window open at night to cool off, that with people and bugs.

Property is not the nice beautiful castle it shows on pictures. Its a prison with pretty buildings around it. Parking is super tight. Watched a lady make a 30 point turn trying to park. Tv in room didnt work. The other room i had, didnt have a working refrigerator. No ice is avaliable anywhere.There is absolutely no a/c. Maintance also doesnt work the weekends. So if something is broken, well its broken. Otherwise staff was friendly. Fairly clean rooms. Very nice views.

Reeceptionist is the only staff I see. Friendly. The hotel is typical, soulless and commercial. Claustrophobic design with long carpeted hallways. Capacity is prioritized over comfort. Lighting and sounds in pool area hectic. The spa is clean but badly designed. The sheets and towels are nice: white, clean cotton.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel
Meine Erfahrung im Hotel war mittelmäßig. Das Hotel ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Ausstattung ist recht alt und mein Zimmer war ziemlich klein. Auch das relativ teure Frühstück war höchstens durchschnittlich. Einen Aufenthalt in der Qualität hätte ich wesentlich günstiger bekommen können.

Nachdem ich erstmal in ein falsches Zimmer geschickt wurde, hat man dies nach meiner Aufforderung das richtige Zimmer anzubieten, sofort und unkompliziert getan. Dann hatte ich einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt mit einem äußerst guten Abendessen!
