Best staff ever
The staff here is amazing. I had a medical crisis while staying at the hotel and they helped me get assistance and took care of contacting the next place that I was supposed to stay at so that they knew I wouldn't be there. Once I am home, I will be writing to the corporate headquarters about the key members who helped me. Absolutely marvelous people. Also, the hotel was clean, quiet, and safe.

Very nice
Very nice hotel with big rooms. Super clean. Looked to be mostly business guests - but it was a great vacation spot for one night in Bordeaux. Not the most central to touristy stuff - just a short walk to everything. Good breakfast. Has bike storage.

6/10 Good

This hotel is in a great location. Very walkable to the city centre and very quiet at the same time. The staff is lovely. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. But the hotel is in need of some upgrades and refurbishing. We had to change rooms because the toilet in ours simply didn’t flush. We notified the staff after the first night (we devised a method of flushing using a bucket of water) but no one attended to it until the evening of our second day. No repair was possible so they moved us. Our second room was not nearly as nice, since it was a family room and the bed was very close to the wall to allow a cot to be used, but since the Olympics meant that all hotels were at or near capacity we knew there wasn’t much choice. At least we had a toilet that worked. Everything else was great. The breakfast was amazing with loads of choices and the lounge was very comfortable. I felt that we could have been offered some kind of compensation for our inconvenience but in new that staff was doing their best and didn’t want to create problems.

Great value for the price. Not many frills, but nice lobby and bar. Breakfast was quite a wide selection. Bar prices high as you’d expect in a hotel.

Great position, you can take tram A straight from the airport. Walkable to all of the main sites. Hotel is lovely and clean, we didnt eat breakfast there (got it from the Intermarché nearby) but spent some time in the bar area which is nice, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Good but not cheap
Functional hotel. Accessible by tram from airport. Close to cathedral and old town. Rooms modern and functional. Good shower, kettle and coffee machine provided. Aircon did not work so slept with window open, no street noise so no problem. BBC world tv not working.

in general, good hotel, good location, friendly staff. On the downside, beds not so comfy, not sure the A/C worked (was hot), and the breakfast is too expensive, should be lower for people staying in the hotel, or should have 'family' packages

Terrible bed/shower
The shower was terrible as the pressure was extremely low. The bed was really uncomfortable because they just placed two single beds together and the mattress were very low quality. The building was dated and you could tell they had done a light refurbishment. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby/reception were of a good standard. I would not recommend this hotel as I do not believe it represented good value for money. The location of the hotel is the only redeeming factor.
