The property is a quaint 3 room hotel. Newly remodeled and very nice and comfortable. Great location near the fish market, Rialto Market and Bridge. Fantastic rooftop patio with couch and chairs to watch Venice below and sip Prosecco.

Very good
Owners are very friendly, room was clean and very nice. The rooftop terrace was amazing and the location is great. Complimentary cake, biscuits and drinks were provided. Only bad things were the stairs were very steap to get into the property but didn't mind to much. It was a pain getting the suitcases up there is an suitcase lift but when we tried to use it it wouldn't work. A really good stay would 100 percent come back.

Mauricio was a wonderful and gracious host who communicated flawlessly. The accommodations are beautiful and the location is great. We loved the roof deck. We can’t speak highly enough of the experience.

We had a wonderful time in Venice and was so happy with our stay here! The property is beautiful - very modern decor with rustic beams etc exposed = very cool! High quality & comfortable furnishings, clean & modern bathroom. location was perfect for us - quiet lovely neighborhood, easy to get to, close to everything. The common spaces were also very nicely outfitted with thoughtful touches everywhere like delicious snacks, coffee, tea, Beverages, champagne and chocolates in our room and even butter in frig! The BEST part of the property is an AMAZING roof deck with 360 views of Venice! Watched sunrise in the morning and had a lovely pizza and beer dinner one evening there! Our host Mauritzio dropped off some snacks for us to make it perfect! Mauritzio was the best host- so kind, thoughtful, warm and welcoming! Grazie mille Mauritzio!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at La Finestra sulle Beccarie. We began our trip to Italy in Venice, and wow -- what a start! The guesthouse is incredibly comfortable -- a common area of large table and kitchen held self-service drinks, snacks, and yogurts (as well as glassware and silverware). A small balcony at this level provides a unique vantage over a small canal. Our room was on the next floor up, and was just beautiful. It exceeded our expectations based on what we'd seen online -- a comfortable bedroom, dressing areas, and a large bathroom. It was incredibly comfortable and good for settling in for a few days. The roof deck was the capper -- just upstairs from our room, it provided 360 views of Venice. With both loungers and an outdoor sofa, we enjoyed morning coffee as well as pre-dinner prosecco throughout our stay. The location was excellent. It was very easy to get to from the vaporetto, even through the fog of jet lag. Just a few minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge in San Polo, we found it to be a relief from the more crowded area on the other side of the bridge. Our host was very kind -- extremely welcoming and ensuring that we were acquainted with our room and the space. We were very grateful for the bottle of prosecco that he welcomed us with! As a new property with few reviews when we'd booked, I'd worried this guesthouse was too good to be true. In fact, it exceeded my initial expectations. I highly recommend it, and hope to return someday!

Great clean apartment with close proximity to Rialto Bridge. Very easy to get around anywhere in Venice. It is a short walk from Vaporetto stop. Pros: Great location, very clean, modern and spacious room, great terrace Cons: Narrow steep stairs 2 floors up, plus our room was 1 floor above that (but this can be anywhere in Venice as it is so tiny) Overall very satisfied with the room.

Great location Friendly and responsive host No complaints, we didn’t even mind the stairs, just part of the character of the building. Over all our unit was quite nicely appointed/nicely restored.

Beautiful, stylish property with views of the canal. The roof top patio was incredible - comfortable lounge furniture and a panoramic view of the Venice skyline. The owners were lovely. They gave us a map on arrival, pointing out key attractions as well as a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our anniversary!

I stayed for two evenings, and was very close to booking another hotel. They've recently opened and so whilst the facilities are modern and well designed, there were a lot of teething problems. Despite expedia listing that check in was available until late our host was very hesitant to check in later. I had to convince him! Our host could not speak english, which created great difficulties for us as we required assistance and tried to call. His wife does speak English, and she called us back a couple of hours later, once the assistance was no longer required... Simple things to improve, don't advertise English if it's not spoken, don't advertise "room with a view" when it's a concrete wall, don't advertise late or 24/7 reception when the host is an hour away and doesn't wish to check people in later. The air conditioning was broken on our arrival, and in the peak of summer it was quite unbearable in the common areas. We had a makeshift air con unit in the bedroom which was incredibly loud and required the window open all night. Please note that there are exceptionally steep stairs into the property, a great struggle with anyone carrying luggage bigger than carry on. The location is brilliant, and the decor is great, but I certainly wouldn't stay here again.
