We stayed here for two nights at the beginning and again at the end of our holiday. It's in a great central location and the staff were really accommodating with first and early check in, and then a very late arrival. Our first visit was a regular room which is on the small side (as are many in Europe), for the return we booked a Privilege room which was well worth it. We didn't have the breakfast as didn't feel that it was worth 20 Euro/person for us as we generally grab a coffee and croissant.
The only criticism, and it's very much a personal preference but I'm certain others will relate, is that they use a mattress protector under the sheet that basically amounts to a plastic shower cap. It's some kind of waterproof fabric that crinkles when you turn over and traps your body heat so you wake up sweltering in the middle of the night. This was in both rooms and we tried to put up with it. Finally, the last night we actually took it off. It's a shame as the beds are really comfortable. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels of varying "stars"and that sort of protector is not the norm, there are better ones out there that don't leave guests feeling like they're in a midnight sauna. Hopefully management gets enough feedback that they consider a more reasonable alternative.
