Comfy room
After reading some of the reviews ( which are admittedly older reviews)I was nervous about my booking. Yes, its a bit dated, but I was very pleasany surprised. The lady at the desk was friendly, the halls were clean and odourless and the room was just fine. Bed was comfy and clean, bathroom was clean. No issues! Thank you!

Some rough edges to work on, overall a good stay
The rooms were generally clean. We did find leftovers in one of the mini fridges in one room. The window sills had bugs and dust, so those aren't being cleaned regularly. The curtains in one room were also stained. The hallway was also very hot compared to the rooms. One of our rooms had two queen beds. There were only two towels (and one washcloth) in the bathroom. When my husband went to ask about getting more towels the desk clerk said, "you want them now?" Um, yes! Two towels in a room that should sleep four people is not enough. The next day after housekeeping was there we had three towels and still only one washcloth. Overall we did have a good experience. These were really minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. Bonus? The website does not mention breakfast, but we were surprised to find a light, continental breakfast.

Hotel was clean overall. Property could use some updates and new parking lot. Breakfast had a poor selection of items with no fresh items and microwave did not work.

We stopped in early to make our reservation. We were going to be a late arrival. They have it posted that the lobby is open until 11:00pm. We knew it would be closer to midnight. They waited for us. She had the key in her hand when we came through the front door. Our only problem was the heater. It was very warm when we checked in. We turned it down to 68. It did not cool off. We completely shut it off. The staff was great.

Decent place and a good price.
An older property, there were places where things were worn. But it was very clean. Smelled fresh without chemicals. Good value. Would stay there again.

Run down - lots of chipping paint, the towel racks were rusting. Breakfast options were lacking - no juice, just water or coffee. I don't know that I'd stay here again.

lacking
My room was dark and dindgy. Lights were burned out. Breakfast was lacking, Common area was messed up. Every thing was outdated, like the bead spreads looked 20 years old. Needs a total renovation.

I stayed here while on a pheasant hunt. I was there to sleep and get up to hunt, so it served its purpose and that’s all I can ask for. I will be staying here again next year.
