The hotel’s description promised a "comforting indulgence," but unfortunately, my experience didn’t align with these expectations. On the night of the 3rd of September, a loud screeching noise from the air-conditioning unit kept me awake, which was particularly disappointing after already changing rooms due to similar issues. Additionally, I noticed mold in the bathroom, a persistent leak outside the room, and neither room I stayed in had a bath plug, making the bath unusable. These issues detracted from the comfort that was advertised. The most distressing incident occurred when I accidentally got locked in the bathroom during the night, without my phone, and had to wait about 10 minutes to free myself. At checkout, the staff kindly asked if I had been contacted about another room change following my complaint to Expedia, but no one had reached out to me. Given the short duration of my stay, it wouldn’t have been worth moving rooms again. While the staff were friendly and tried to assist, my stay was far from the "comforting indulgence" described. I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort I experienced. Please note that I have photo evidence of the issues mentioned and can provide them if needed.

Staff was nice when we checked in but there was no one at the desk when we left in the morning and needed a cab to the airport because the trains weren't running (also a security issue). There was a ton of mold in the bathroom and some in the bedroom--I can't even believe it was rented in that condition. The shower head fell on both of us as we showered. The extra blanket was stained. A dog was barking incessantly.

The location was excellent and easy to get too. Great view from our room The aircon in our room made a squicking noise which was reported. There was a massive party in the room next door until all hours in the morning and although the hotel asked them to keep quiet, they didn't

2/10 Poor

On the critical side: The hotel quite unclean, dust in many place, water marks in the bathroom etc. The bathtub plug did not work, the shower door was loosely connected and did not look too stable. Spa was "under construction" which was a major disappointment as it was not indicated during booking. There is distinct cigaret smoke odor near the elevators and on the steps leading from the parking. The staircase leading from the parking is utterly disgusting, and unsafe, with rubbish and exposed electrical wires. By the way, the reasons we know that is that the elevators were not functioning half the time so we took the more active way to the parking lot. After the first night we got a call, asking if everything is ok. I mentioned all of the above, and I was assured that a manager will get back to me. I am still waiting. On the positive side: Some staff made (successful) efforts to provide us with an extra folding bed when we checked in late at night.

The property looks very old. The toilet did not work, the tv had burnt pixels all over , broken tiles all over the room and very strange smell. Also old elevators and no food service late in the evening. The only good thing is that the hotel is close to the train station. This is not what I would expect from a 250$ per night hotel and I don’t think I would return there.
