Extremely old and expensive hotel.Do not recommend
I don't know where to start, everything was below average or outright bad. First of all, no AC?! 4 star hotel and no AC, no ventilator, no nothing. No parking, no spa access, no beach chairs, just a 3 euro voucher for beach access. The hotel is very old, and smells like it. The water in the toilet will not stop running, and they couldn't get a hold of the repair man, so we just had to sleep through the noise and the heat. The breakfast was bland and the same each day, no variation. The elevator extremely slow, and just two of them for the whole building. It can take up to 10 min to get from the 6th floor to the lobby. And with a pregnant wife stairs are not an option. The good things were the personnel that was nice, and the location, just on the beachfront. Overall this doesn't make up for all the shortcomings. Very expensive for what it offers. It needs an extensive renovation work.

Timmerndorferstrand is fantastic. Maritim hotel has the most amazing pool area and breakfast. the rooms are small but comfortable with bath tub, that we appreciate. The location directrly by the sea is wonderful.
