I was put in the first room from the lobby. It was next to the maintenance room, across from the laundry room, and everyone going in or out had to pass by the room. Just about every time I went out and came back, I had to get the keycard reactivated (they must’ve thought I was one of the hourly guests). That, of course, was more inconvenient for the staff than for me. The HVAC unit filter hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. It looked like sweater. The mattress covers were like felt, and full of cigarette burn holes. On the plus side, I didn’t get bit by anything, nothing got into any open food, and the cleaning staff was pleasant.
