The Greenhouse (Gróðurhúsið) was marvelous! It’s in the town of Hveragerði, which is a little gem itself. It was a perfect base for exploring southern Iceland.

The hotel offered what it stated, I found it over priced , silly but it bothered me that the web site photo pictures a fantastic latte and a croissant for the continental breakfast and well these are for sale, breakfast is the usual but in the overcrowdwd cafe/shop so you are not sure what you can take and what is for sale. As to comfort and clenliness good.

I interacted with multiple staff and each of them went above and beyond, including adding me to their wake up call list for view the northern lights and providing suggestions when I was out late and wanted food.

Lovely room, very well thought out design, the best most helpful staff and beautiful breakfast. I mean really beautiful breakfast, a great way to start the day. The towels were a little more tattered than I would care for. The bar is great, the rest of the food vendors are bar food, so if that's what you're looking for... The gift shop had great potential but was very picked over.
