In a fabulous location above Lichnos Beach with stunning sea views in a quiet countryside location, Horizon Blue is that rarity - a lovely blend of a sophisticated villa in a rural setting. This brand new three bedroom villa boasts an infiinity swimming pool that makes the most of the amazing panoramas of sky, sea and wonderful sunsets. Hidden away done a simple track, through olive groves with a backdrop of the towering mountains in the distance, the villa's traditional stone built exterior blends seamlessly into the environment surrounding it. Beyond the gated entrance, a vast green lawn encompasses the villa with a sturdy stone wall creating a lovely walled garden with pretty colourful flowers, bushes and trees. The white sandy horseshoe shaped bay of Lichnos Beach is a 5 minute drive, whilst a local taverna and bar is a 10 walk minute away, handy for the evenings when a walk will build up an appetite. The interiors natural stone walls allow the delightful minimalist decor to give a subtle balance of space and calm, high wooden ceilings allowing cool breezes to circulate, with the main living, dining and kitchen areas opening onto the swimming pool patios and the inside and outdoor spaces make sure there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. The two bedrooms on the ground floor continues the informal ambience, with an ensuite marble shower room each, a flat screen TV and more patio doors leading onto terraces. The attic platform open -plan bedroom on the first floor overlooks the living area, with screens that can be drawn across the glass balcony for privacy and also enjoys its own ensuite shower room and flat screen TV. Parga is a 10 minute drive and a beautiful town that feels as if it is an island citadel, pretty pastel shades of pink, yellow and green adorn the houses that climb up the hillsides from the harbourfront, with a fortress on high. Endless little cobbled back streets with plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are great to explore, while the main quayside of the port is a lively place to stroll around in the evenings, with daily excursions over to Paxos; the neighbouring island, and a chance to do a bit of island hopping!
