Excellent accommodations. Very high end appliances in the kitchen. Pretty well stocked dishes. Nice king sized beds with private bathrooms, and nice balcony view over the pools and bay. Great restaurant and little store across the street. Great security and easy to plan activities and rentals.

Beautiful property but on the non ocean side and they don’t allow you to use sister hotdd weed l which is on ocean side. Pool very nice. But there were little mites in master bath on sink counter.. they sprayed 3 times and each time the bugs came back immediately. I asked if they could get someone to treat the problem but that never happened. Had to keep everything out of bathroom. Also kept suitcase in garage and washed everything when got home… afraid we had brought them back. Also… they are building another building next door so it was extremely noisy from 730 am to 5. I asked to be moved but they never would move us. I would never recommend staying there

I loved this property overall. I was there for 10 days soI rented a golf cart to get around. Secrets Beach was about 25-30 minutes away as was Mahogany Bay. I got to see the locals, EXTREMELY nice people, and shop at their grocery stores. The customer service at the resort was great for the most part. Jamili and Gelie were simply outstanding to say the least. Sheridan was really nice as well. Rina needs some work. I hope she gets better in the future. Also, do NOT eat at the Rain restaurant. It was flavorless, tasted very bland and most importantly, it got me sick. So not cool! Elvi's is near by across the bridge and they have a good selection of tasty dishes.

Overall, we had a good stay here and appreciated the staff and the pool & gym amenities. Where we struggled a bit: 1. There was a challenge with the smoke detector battery beeping incessantly and the hot water in shower required us turning on the sink faucet and running both for a long time before showering. 2. There seemed to be more amenities (both the restaurants, the convenienice store, and departures for activities) at the larger sister hotel, Grand Caribe, but we probably just should've paid attention to this when booking. We *did* like that the Sunset was more quiet than the Grand Caribe though.

I really enjoy staying at this property. Everyone was so nice. There is no restaurant on the property so you do have to go out to eat. You do have the option to have food delivered to the hotel. The bartender are great and drinks were bomb.

Bartender (forgot his name) but he was fabulous with his customer service (I remember he mention he is off on Wednesdays). When asked for towels and printing out boarding tickets was quick and easy. I had an amazing time on my birthday solo trip here! I went in the middle of the week (August 20) so not many people but the staff was still very present and accommodating ! It is about 15/20 outside of the main town but I loved feeling like I had a full apartment instead of just a room. I was greeted with a drink & even got a great birthday song from the bellman. This is a sister property of Grand Caribe so the main restaurants are on their property across the street. I ate at Rain and Aqua ! I loved them both! The gym onsite is huge (if that is your thing) , room service was amazing and drinks were delicious . Special shout out to Rina, Ian , Carlos and my driver Aby for making my stay amazing. I plan to come back in The next 6 months!
