Love the ocean sound at night.
We got a room on the 1st floor, has stairs and elevator, nice room with an ocean view that was amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant, service was excellent and the meals were tasty. We had Fish and chips and chicken curry. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We also had the morning full English breakfast spread, EVERYTHING. Would definitely stay here again. They also have fans.

There was a loud wedding going on all evening so the staff was understandably busy. I was still able to get rest through the night with some noise-canceling headphones. One thing of note: the bus stops 20 minutes walk away so be wary of this if relying on public transportation. It’s not a difficult walk with bags, it just takes time.

Rooms were hot, loud and there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom or by the beds. We had to unplug the light to charge phones and use the blow dryer. The doors were very loud when they shut and the mattress was terribly uncomfortable.

It is a lovely rural coastal setting on the West coast of Ireland. It's a quaint and homely hotel. The hotel is eco-friendly and minimises the use of plastic. They also have fantastic plant-based options for meals. Breakfast at Aileen's had stunning sea views and breakfast was excellent. Staff were polite but not very attentive. The manager found us a table and called the waiter to take our orders, but we found it difficult to get any further service from the waiters. Granted the hotel was busy but the waiters seemed to focus on their regular diners.
