It was a long awaited trip and considering the proximity to the shopping centre and my past experience ( 18 years back) chosen this property to surprise my family. Paid a premium for a three night stay wherein I had the opportunity to have stayed at Armani hotel for the price. The shuttle service driver at airport was very professional , pleasing and prompt. Despite giving all details and opted for upgrade , was asked to pay about 2000 dollars per night for a chalet upgrade (per night) and have made all the payments upfront and it took almost 30 minutes for a checkin after a 22 hr long flight. Could have been better if opted some water or some refreshments. Had given requests and opted to pay for to keep some local dates, chocolates, for my wife and son as a surprise and found none of them being there. Called the coincerige almost 3 times to remind them and waited till 11pm . The corner suite lot of space was wasted , could have used it better. No cutleries in the room, there was a drip leakage in the toilet from the bulb on top. couple of time the room was not even cleaned and bed not folded. the perfume in the entire floor was so so overpowering that we had to close the nostrils to avoid getting a head ache. Raised the issue the day before departure, and the service was much better after that and they tried to offer a complimentary ride to airport. I am from the service industry too, there was hardly any who was smiling and greeting u throughout.. Little disappointed
