Better than last, but room to improve.
Check-in was very easy, although I had to wait a couple minutes for the clerk to arrive. No one was there at check-out time so I had to leave my key in the basket. Room was clean and adequate for my purposes, however the drain on the shower faucet leaked the entire time and is in need of repair. The parking lot was spacious, which I liked, but did notice a considerable amount of garbage littered there. The room was not sound-proof, as I heard my neighbor watching TV after hours through the wall, which was a detriment for me as I'm a light sleeper. I did not take anything for breakfast. Overall, an improvement from the last hotel I visited in Chadron.

Property was clean and smelled clean when you walked in the door. No one at front desk, but they did appear immediately after pressing the button to call them to the front desk. Quick check in and friendly service. No coffee pot or phone but didn't need those things for as short a time we were there. Had a fridge and microwave but didn't really need them either. Breakfast is only cereal, toast, and bagels, and the coffee pots were empty. Outer doors don't to the hotel don't lock and the room door dead bolt wouldn't lock. Water took a little bit to get hot, but when it did, it was super-hot. Bathroom sink was a little outdated and the shower curtain maybe could have been a little cleaner, but the room was clean and nice, and it was a quiet place, and it didn't have people running in and out slamming doors through the night like most hotels we stay in. For the very short time we were there and the low amount of money we wanted to pay for the short time we would be in the facility, it was a nice, clean place to stay.

The bed was too firm, the pillows were flat and hard and there was a lipstick stain on one of the pillows. The electric outlets would not hold my charger for my phone. It rained quite a bit that night and when I went to go adjust the air conditioner, I felt the carpet wet from rain coming through the window. The tv didn't work well and all in all, it was the worst room I have ever stayed in!

Overall this place is as good as it gets being an older property. It’s clean that’s all that matters. There are numerous constructions in the area, but surprisingly it’s pretty quiet on the inside.
