The room was really nice and we were very impressed with the ease of parking right outside. However, the check in/out process was not enjoyable at all. We had booked with Expedia and were given a check in time of 3pm, we wound up arriving early, just before 2pm. I had a migraine and was anxious to get into the room for some rest before our event. We were told that our room wasn't ready and we couldn't check in until 3pm, so we parked in the parking lot and waited. At 3pm we were told our room wasn't ready, although there were many people both in front and behind us who were given their rooms. We were told to wait 30 mins, by this time i was starting to feel a little better so we went to grab some food. We returned just before 4pm and were again told the room was not ready, at this point we were not happy and asked to speak to a manager. At that point we were advised that our room was ready. The desk agent took our credit card, which is not unusual even when you pay in advance, however in this case they charged our credit card for well over the price we had booked at. We noticed the charge to our credit card 4 days later and contacted the hotel to fix the situation. We have been advised that it is now corrected. Had we not looked at our credit card statement we would not have known because we were also not provided with a receipt for the charge.
