The location of the hotel is perfect and it's a lovely lobby. However, when we got into the room, it was excessively hot. We thought it just needed time for the AC to kick in. After an hour with no change, we called the desk and they assured us it was fine and they could control it from their end. I stressed to them that I suffer from SEVERE asthma and the heat was going to trigger that and make me sick. They said they understood and the AC would be on "shortly." A few hours later and nothing changed. When I went to talk to the front desk again, by this time it was the night staff who said oh the AC is broken in our room and they did not have another room to move us to, but they gave us a fan. I was so sick from the heat and my asthma. We were only staying one night. When i went to check out the next day, i was SHOCKED that they did not even offer to give a reduction or anything. When i asked them about it, they seemed suprised and said they needed to speak to the manager. 30 minutes later they did come back with 30%. While it was appreciated, the whole ordeal was really dangerous to my health and disappointing about their seemingly lack of care.
