The hotel is as advertised. Check-in and check-out staff were very friendly. Mini fridge, full bed (was worried based on the 2 separate blankets in the photo it might be two twins pushed together), good water pressure in the shower. Quiet. I especially loved my window - great light, trees/pretty apartments outside, opened a little bit for fresh air without letting rain in.
I was a woman traveling alone and felt very safe in the neighborhood and in the building, even at night - I barely had to turn off the busy street to get into the building.
Close to the Rijk Museum, a nice large park, bike rental, post office, restaurants, tram. Pretty much right across the street from the canals.
I was a little wary because the photos online were posted by the hotel in 2018 and the price was low, but my room was pretty much in the same condition (maybe a few marks on walls, etc). Elevator was out of order while I was there, but they gave me advanced notice and offered free cancellation. Stairs very steep, but that was okay for me.
