This is a beautiful restored property that has retained much of its Maltese style. The bedrooms are bright & modern with beautiful furnishings, bedding & towels. Rooms cleaned daily and bedding & towels changed as required. The best bed we have ever slept in.There is a mini bar and tea/coffee facilities.
The restaurant, under the care of Sandeep & his team, offers an array of cereals, pastries, fruit etc & also offers a wide range of hot choices all tailored to your requirements. The roof terrace has a small but lovely pool with sun beds, umbrellas & towels.
Reception staff are knowledgeable & can help with trip advice & dinner reservations.
My husband & I would return in a heartbeat.
The hotel is in the small town of Ghaxaq. The Church is metres away & has been there much longer than the hotel. As such, it and the local residents deserveMass is held daily & attended by the local residents. We also saw a wedding & funeral take place while there. During such occasions parking is restricted but there are lots of other places to park nearby & ample warnings given to move your car. The church also has an enthusiastic bell ringer which, for most people, adds to the charm of the holiday but could upset any overly sensitive guests! 😉
