A Wonderful Family Operated Hotel
La Perla is a true find - not via satnav - but in every other way. The rooms are spacious with views and balconies. The breakfast is terrific and their dinner offerings are limited but tasty and reasonably priced. The family, husband, wife, wife’s sister and daughter all work the front of the house and do a terrific job. Back to that satnav comment. The hotel is well above Tremezzo with wonderful views. We found that neither our car or Apple Maps was accurate in getting us to the hotel. Info: turn at/near Hotel La Darsena. Don’t pay attention to other ideas.

Great hotel with amazing views. Loved, loved loved this hotel. Great location for exploring the lake, close to Villa Carlotta. Family run hotel with excellent service. The property, rooms and staff were all amazing. The family that owns the hotel are very hospitable and welcoming. We had a lovely evening chatting with them about a local festival l. It was very memorable. However, if you did not rent a car buyer beware that it is a long and steep climb/walk to the hotel from any bus stops or ferries. And Ubers/taxis are hard to come by. Other than that the walk itself is beautiful just a little bit difficult.

Amazing views with amazing service
Beautiful and simple hotel, had beautiful views and amazing attention from the owners. You compromise being close to the lake with being up the mountain but the views definitely make up for the trouble. Definitely recommend .

I loved our stay here! The staff were very kind and helpful, the hotel was cozy and quiet, the breakfast and restaurant offered a variety of excellent food. This hotel is also within walking distance of Tremezzo and the ferry and bus stops. It is uphill though, so you may want to hire a taxi if you have a lot of luggage. 5/5 highly recommend!

Hotel La Perla was a wonderful experience. The family treated us so well and made our trip excellent. We were fortunate to have a vehicle so transportation was not an issue. If you do not have a vehicle, travel will be tough as the hotel is pretty far up the mountain. The views are incredible, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the food is great… I highly recommend staying at Hotel La Perla. If you wanted other restaurants or experiences, there are many places down the mountain 5 minutes to eat, shop, and the ferry is right there also. You won’t want to leave.
