Definitely going back
We were blown away. It was our first time staying there and we had no idea how beautiful the hotel would be. We booked for the Alder but we hit placed in the tower of the world resorts casino. This was such. Pleasant surprise bc no we were right there with the restaurants, bars, casino, spa, pool etc. Every staff member was lovely, helpful and really seemed like they are happy to be working at the resort. The room was massive and spotless. Every inch of the place was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the pool hot tub was great. Casino was clean and brand new, restaurants were delish (steakhouse not the best for the price we expected better) overall we are excited to stay there again

Would stay again!
Wonderful location with plenty to do right at the resort. We LOVED the amenities and the space. The only challenge we encountered was the staff at the front desk was not clear on directions to where things were on the property including our room. It took us a bit to find things. A map or someone with clearer directions would of been helpful.

Room with Resort Amenities
We stopped for the night while traveling through the Catskills. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and walk-in showers. The pool is in the main casino - we did not go in but it looked fabulous and we will return when we have more time. We really enjoyed our dinner at Cellaio.

2/10 Poor

There was a concert for elderly people outside right below our window. It went fairly late and prevented us from napping before dinner. But the low rating is not for that. It's for the lack of transparency between Expedia and the property. Expedia quoted just $25 extra in resort and local taxes to be collected at the property during checkout. However it was $25 in resort fees and then $10 in local taxes. Expedia already collected some tax during the booking. It is basically fraudulent for the hotel to add even more taxes that is not announced transparently on Expedia at the time of booking. Both hotel and Expedia are at fault. They need to work out a system where there is no surprise as to what the final charge will be.

6/10 Good

The .ain grievance i had with the Adler was i booked a king room on July 10th for August 30th checkin and upon arrival was told that there we no king rooms available. I was also told by the concierge that rooms are not guaranteed and had i reserved via the hotel website wouldve seen the disclaimer. However I booked via hotels.com therefor no such disclaimer was present. I found this to be an admission of fraudulent practice. How can you advertise offerrings have them booked but then say nope we didn't have that. This is poor business practice.
