Everything you need
This is the second stay and it was as enjoyable as the first. Despite the resort being quite busy, the rooms were quiet. It was terrific to have undercover parking close by, what with the ongoing rain. The pools were great and uncrowded and the area was well lit at night so it felt safe to walk around.The units are well appointed with everything you need, and it was lovely to have a balcony with a view. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly.The guests were kindly and behaved responsibly and respectfully. The place has a nice feel.

No food.
We spent about 2 weeks at BreakFree Alexandra Headland. The most disappointing point was when I booked it said there was a banquet room. Turns out there is no food or drink available on site at all. I wish we knew that before booking as that was one of the main reasons we booked. On the last night, our key cards just stopped working. We were out with friends and returned at about 1am. No way of getting inside. We had to call security which took another 30 minutes to get inside. All that being said, it was still an overall good experience. With great pools.

Breakfree resort is a great spot for a vacation. The apartments are nothing fancy, but all you need for a relaxing stay away. Its location is great for walking to the beach and eateries, and only a short drive away from the shopping centres. The heated pool and spa was a hit for us, as we came during the cooler months. We loved our stay!

When we first arrived at the property the room we had booked was not the same as what was displayed on the Expedia photos. We brought this to the attention of staff at reception and we were looked after superbly by the staff, especially Jess who was awesome, which resulted in a room upgrade. Unfortunately between Wotif and Breakfree Alexandra Beach, they were not very helpful to us, due to loosing our flight and money with Bonza we requested a date change due to living rurally and the cost of replacing the flights. All we received was a ‘sorry’ it was quite devastating for our family as this was our only family holiday for this year and last year.
