Loved the town! Great mountain community and beautiful lake. The Village is fun to walk and window shop. Lots of little places to eat and explore. The Alpine Slide is always fun and the zoo was cute. Relaxing and a great weekend getaway.

I like the quaintness of the main town. The store i like to go to every time is called Room to Room. They have very nice things especially seasonal ones, Dinner for us is always The Pepper Corn Grill or Oakside. Great food.

Bear Mountain skiing was close & amazing! Oakside restaurant was right next door and perfect for a delicious dinner. Recommend using Jazzy Big Bear ride service vs. Uber/Lyft, very affordable & responsive.

For our first visit to Big Bear during the winter, it was a hit. Our daughter went snow tubing for the first time and we had a very restful and enjoyable trip.

"Honestly i was very anxious for my stay, i had seen that there were bad reviews but only after the fact that i already made reservations, surprisingly i had an awesome time, the manager was super nice and welcoming as well as all of the other employees, she did let me know of the warm water not working in the building i was staying in, none the less i wanted to stay in the room so id have a kitchen, the room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean, they had utensils, dish ware and cooking ware. the private water front was so beautiful especially at night. the balcony was a definite plus too. they did have complimentary breakfast with items like juice, coffee, cereal, breakfast bars and a few other things. my stay was very affordable. Although it’s mid summer in california the weather was perfect, unfortunately there was no ac, and as a person who gets very hot easily, i would say the ac was not needed, i’ll definitely be returning and would recommend checking this place out for your next stay up in big bear. there were many fun activities that i was able to do in my 2 night stay, there are many things that are at walking distance or a very short car ride away, id recommend going to the alpine slide, going out for a kayaking experience, and/or checking out a fun spot called gold rush mining adventure."
"We had a wonderful stay at Home2Suites by Hilton in Big Bear. Most importantly for me , the room was very clean. The hotel also has great amenities like, a gym, indoor pooI, patio with gas firepits. The breakfast had someone for everyone. I also liked the small details like 24 hr coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. "
"Check in was quick, the rooms are perfectly what you would expect in a mountain town, clean, great views, everything is walking distance. This is right by the village and there was so much to do, so many shops, places to eat, places to drink, tattoo shops, we did it all. "
"Facility is beautiful. Rooms are great with a balcony facing the lake. Bar was very good. Service was excellent. Fantastic location near the village. Great walking/biking paths nearby."
"Been going here for over 15yrs. Great place lake is right there. Staff is great! Lakeshore room well at least the we stayed in needs to be updated really bad"
