10/10 Exceptional
The room was immaculate when we got there! Fresh linens/towels that smelt of detergent, perfect sized mini fridge in the room to hold a few grocery items. Access to the kitchen when we needed to make a “late night” snack (it was about 8pm).
The best continental breakfast of our whole vacation, included with coffee/tea/fresh juice, eggs and sausages in a tomato sauce, fresh baked bread and pastries that were soft and oh so delicious.
The biggest bonus? Being directly on the ocean with a small pool in a small town on the coast a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of Rio De Janeiro City.
The host was beyond accommodating even with my very broken Portuguese and Google Translate coming in handy. It’s got a very big family vibe to the place and we absolutely LOVED IT.
They even help set you up with a local driver (who often accommodates guests of this little hotel) who picked us up from the airport and waited a literal 2 hours for us outside because customs is a NIGHTMARE of a long line during carnaval season and we were not expecting it 😅
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars and I would absolutely stay again the next time I am in Rio :)
