Russell and Jim are incredible! Their attention to detail is visible everywhere. Jim accommodated our vegan requests with great culinary skill. Our room was comfortable, and obviously extremely well maintained. We look forward to returning, as we felt as though we were visiting with family. We were there to enjoy the Earl Scruggs Music Festival and were delighted to see the lights on when we arrived home some nights after midnight!

The Carrier House is everything I could have wished for in a bed and breakfast: starting with a warm welcome from our 2 host and owners, followed be the enchanting landscaping as well as a charming 19th Century Inn. Our breakfast was memorable for the good company, the dishes presentation and of course the taste!

We had an amazing stay at the Carrier House. It was our daughter's first experience at a B&B, and we could not have been more pleased. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The house has a wonderful history that was fascinating to learn. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The food was excellent and served in a first class way. We'll definitely be back if we are ever up that way again!
