Best stay I have ever had at a hotel.
While the room was small, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The best I have ever had in my life. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

No my Grand Central anymore.
Surprised. Scandic Grand Central used to be a vibrant international environment where international travelers meet the local people. Great bars and dining. Very surprised with an empty lobby, restaurant and bars closes at 10PM? Rooms are around 10-15 years old. Simple beds and a noisy AC. If you still consider to stay here its great to know that a nearby 7/11 or Burger king can fill up your empty stomach. For me; I will never go back.

Decent hotel but stay could have been better
Hotel is fine, Great location. Only a 5 minute walk to Arlanda Express so easy to get to and from the airport. The one issue I had was you had to book housekeeping 24 hours in advance and although I have no issue with that someone could have mentioned it at check in. You have a shower that drenches the floor around the toilet and wash basin and only have a towel to dry it which won’t get replaced because you are not aware that housekeeping won’t come into your room. Breakfast is ok and the bar area is nice

Excellent Service.
The hotel was excellent as usual; however, this time Alex at the front desk went above and beyond. I realized that I had left my AirPods in the room while on the high-speed train to the airport. After emailing the front desk from the train, Alex went to the room (twice), found the AirPods and returned them to my colleague. I regularly stay at the Scandic Grand Central and have become used to the excellent service. Thanks again to Alex!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The decor is beautiful from lobby to restaurant to room, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom well stocked with toiletries. Our room had a balcony with a little table and chairs which was a great bonus as we stayed during very warm weather. The Scandic breakfast buffet is always to die for. The area is great; close to good transport links but easily walkable to old town and a lot of central shopping streets. Lots of food & drink options around too. Would happily stay here again!

Was there for Taylor Swift concert and the staff went beyond what could be expected. Room was great, staff was helpful, breakfast was okay but they stopped bringing food out eventhough there was 30 minutes until the breakfast should stop.

Highly recommended based on just 2 points alone: location and lobby. Location is central, minutes away from rail, metro & bus terminal, pedestrian walking street, supermarket and bus stop for the bus to cruise terminal. Lobby is Starbucks style, great for resting after a long day of walking. Background music tend to be rather loud though. Housekeeping is on request but that is ok with us. We just changed towels with housekeeper when needed.

Location close to train and bus stops. shopping nearby. mattress was not all that comfortable. Room was dark with no view. Buffet breakfast was world class. Hotel Manager Emily was top notch. Bartender William very informative. Elise was also excellent with travel arrangements. Good value, but might try somewhere else based on room & bedding.

It was good . Not brilliant but basic ok for solo traveller for one night . Restaurant was very good and good service . Breakfast too crowded at 8.30 on a Sunday . Ran out of coffee for a bit ! Tables not cleaned . Unexciting public toilet with cracked asins but great to be able to leave your luggage . Reception staff also good though not concierges who can help with where to go and how good a place is to visit

Just got back here from a five day trip in Stockholm. Over all I actually do recommend this hotel. Its location is perfect but we discovered that all the nice restaurants that were worth paying a ..lot of money were either in Gamla Stan or near the Royal Theater & Opera. There were not many options. Re maintenance we had every day a cleaner. Its very quiet and safe. Re the amenities now it would be preferable to see online what exactly was offered so that I could bring the things that weren't offered. So bring slippers. Over all the people were very kind and very eager to help. We enjoyed our stay
