The property is a beautiful old captain's house with loads of character. It is well taken care of, but even renovated bathroom and kitchenette are showing their age a bit. The owners and staff are tremendous and very friendly. It attracts a clientelle that are also a great bunch of folks. The breakfast, by the owner, is excellent. I purposely went late to my conference every day just to stay and enjoy it! With a bathroom upgrade to more modern standards it would be fantastic.

It's an 1870's old home but it's been well renovated. Bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast's were first class. Staff was excellent. Cable TV was sporadic at best and the blinds didn't work on the windows.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed the ambience of the old Victorian house. Large rooms, high ceilings, lots of interesting features and a great breakfast. Might be a problem if you have to lug large suitcases up the steep stairs, but it was fine with us. Would definitely recommend.
