My stay was unfortunately disrupted by multiple serious issues.
On the first night, the room lost running water for a significant period, which meant the toilet and shower were not functioning. This already made the room difficult to use.
The following day, water began leaking through a ceiling light fixture in the room, which was particularly concerning given the proximity to electricity. Shortly after reporting this, guests received an evacuation notice due to flooding concerns in the building. I had to pack my belongings and leave the room while the situation was assessed. Eventually I was moved to another room that appeared unaffected.
To their credit, the staff communicated via WhatsApp and eventually relocated me to a safe room. However, the situation itself was stressful and disruptive, especially given the safety concerns related to water leaking near electrical fixtures.
The compensation process also required considerable persistence. The initial offer was very low, and I had to follow up multiple times and escalate the issue before management reviewed the situation and agreed to a more appropriate refund for the affected nights.
While I appreciate that the matter was ultimately resolved, the combination of loss of water, a ceiling leak through an electrical fixture, evacuation of the room, and the difficulty in obtaining appropriate compensation made the stay far from what one would expect from a hotel.
