Comfortable, quiet, and convenient!
We weren't at Bella Vista long, but we desperately needed a soft spot to land after big travel days and this accommodated all of our needs! The room was clean and well stocked. The sliding glass doors are a nice touch as well. It was incredibly quiet which allowed for a great night's rest. We'd definitely stay there again!

Cute cozy Motel
Cozy Motel. It is very close to the main part of town and walking distance to the lake. It was even better than expected. It is cozy and they had nice details like heating pads for the bed. The toilet seat was a little wobbly and there was more light that came into the room than we like, but neither were an issue. There is a cute shared patio and a spot to sit outside of your room. They were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. We loved having a microwave and fridge in the room.

Michael was amazing! We got in last minute with a late reservation due to a vrbo snafu. Michael made sure our rooms were warm and bed heated were on when we arrived late in the night. The next day, he accomodated us by holding our luggage while we visited milford sound. He checked the road report for us as well. Our rooms were clean and comfortable! Thank you so much!!!

Bella Vista Motel was an ideal base from which to explore the lakeside walks and Doubtful Sound further afield. Our room was spotless when we arrived and the amenities excellent. Just a short walk from the town, we had a good choice of dining options.

1) Good points Lovely and very warm welcome upon arrival. Booked a compact queen studio as no others available. 2) No so good *It is very "compact" No hob or separate kitchen sink. Only sink in toilet to do washing up. Once cases and luggage in room there was no where to eat except sitting on bed. No hob to cook on, microwave only. Ok for one night but wouldn't want to be in the room longer. Very very expensive when comparing to other motels we are staying in during our month tour of the two islands. In short far too expensive and too small, perhaps ok for one very tidy and organised person

We stayed two nights in early February 2024. It’s a nice, clean accommodation and good place to rest and sleep. There’s also a small outdoors to chill out or mingle with other guests. Area around the hotel is very nice. Several restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance. The lake and park are within walking distance. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to other travelers. Thank you!
