Hotel end of checking in time is 6pm. We were late on our way there because unexpected snow on mountains mid September. We called owner, she left our room key and instruction at reception, and we checked in without any issues. The breakfast has good choice. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.

A Special Hotel in Beautiful Alpbach
This is a wonderful hotel near the center of Alpbach. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious with fresh and quality selections including eggs cooked to order. On-site parking. There is a well stocked honor bar on the lower level. The free city pass which allows you to take a free the bus to the local ski mountain for a ride to the top is a nice benefit. Lastly, if you stay here you will get a chance to meet one of the treasures of Alpbach, Gitte (Brigitte). She is the property owner with so much energy, enthusiasm and heartfelt friendship for all. She always seemed to be nearby. Just look for her golf cart. This hotel offers great value, please give it a try.

Simply the best! Better than all the rest!
This is the most hospitable stay in our 20 day trip in Austria and Italy. Gitty (Brigitta) is incredibly helpful and engaging. From our greeting at arrival to our departure days later, Gitty was making sure we were taken care of. Also we got free chair passes and bus passes so we could continue hiking the Alps with ease. The food in Alpbach was incredible as was the breakfast bar here.

Whole different experience
Gitti is the absolute best! We were exhausted from driving but found the place right away. We had barely parked and Brigitte was already standing behind our car to welcome us. It was like i came to visit my mom. She was sso welcoming and put huge smile on our faces immediately with her funny and happy personality. She personaly escorted us to our rooms which were awesome. Super clean and cute with hearts all over. She invited us to her sunny patio for a beer. Sat down with us for a bit for dinner recommendations and laughs. Anyways long story short. House aamazing, view amazing, people amazing, brakfast amazing! For what, 60 bucks? If you want a Tirolean experience, stay there

Great service, location, and accommodations. Wow.
Since travel from 1985 in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy; and against some truly outstanding lodgings, this was my favorite yet in the Alps. I have never given straight perfect ratings, but this Gaesthaus earned them! The view is incredible, both in the early morning, and sipping Grüener Veltliner on the balcony watching sunset over the Alps to the west. This is a great spot if you are summer glacier skiing in Hintertux to the west. Try their hausgemacht preserves at breakfast. Mmmm!
