No room service. There rest room was not clean when I checked in. The surrounding was not clean and streets people hanging in the premises

If there was a negative star, I would have given that. It’s just torture and waste of money. Cockroach in the washroom, bad smell from the room, and feels like living in an indian slum (may be because the owner is from there). You will get sick. Don’t fall for the price. No wifi, nothing. Believe me you won’t stay for free here.

Great place with plenty of privacy and access to the city, very nice staff, accommodating, cold AC, and fair policies. I usually choose Village motor inn for an affordable place to stay in the city of Austin.

Avoid this place. You get what you pay for but this place was nasty. Substances/stains on the walls and headboard, dusty and run down furniture. Bed was soft but mattress and pillows were very questionable. Outside of the building is all concrete and worse for wear, and you can hear everything, especially people climbing up the steps. Didn’t feel super safe as the chain lock was clearly removed from the door and at 3 am there was someone banging my door and a few doors near me.

Dirty, ripped bedding, walls dirty, writing and spray paint everywhere, microwave smelled, everything just felt dirty and grimy and I really try not to be picky. I know you get what you pay for, but there needs to be some minimum standards here. I wish I knew uploading photos was an option how dirty this room was.

The Village Motor inn felt like home when I was staying there, as crazy as it may sound it was a place where if you got to know the regular people and the individuals who call the place home it is very much a small community. I felt safe while I was there. Do not pass judgment on the individuals that call Village motor in their home. Everyone here is very kind.
