Good hotel that needs some soundoroofing
The noise here was the biggest downside to the stay. Staff were helpful, professional and friendly with some english spoken. Good room with firm.bed but being against the street with a paper thin huge old window made it feel like I was sleeping in the middle of the street. Ammenities close by, Neat part of the city with some interesting older architecture. Bit safer than centro. Ear plugs just won't cut it but heavy sleeper may find decent value here. Very good Wi-Fi. Decent budget hotel option.

Excellent service and comfortable Hotel.
This is a great hotel to stay. Near to the Int. airport w/ lots restaurants and shops. Ease access to taxi and Uber. The property in general is excellent. Respectful and helpful staff. Nice, clean, organized bedroom and bathroom. Good breakfast eggs+bread+coffee which is good and included. If you’re reading this, then I recommend this hotel for you.

Great service/ poor atmosphere
The staff was extremely nice and helpful even with the language barrier. The breakfast was delicious and authentic. However the location was pretty far away from the city, but we still walked to downtown Bogota. Our room was extremely noisy and the bed/pillow were worse than a hostel. Would i stay again? No.

A beauty in Bogota...
Lovely neighbourhood, with many gorgeous Tudor-style homes, and green spaces. The TransMilenios is only three blocks away, and you can walk to many restaurants, bars, and cafes within ten minutes. Still, the area is very quiet in the evenings, and very safe to walk about in at any time. The manager, Nelson, and all of his staff, are incredibly kind and accommodating, and the rooms are a good size, with plenty of closet space, a safe for your valuables, comfortable beds, and a large bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water, and toiletries provided, Breakfast is simple (but well prepared and filling!), and the staff will make you coffee or tea anytime, just for the asking. Carrera 17, on which the hotel is located, is a busy thoroughfare, so it does get a bit noisy by around 7:00 am, but there´s so much to see in Bogota, you don´t really want to be sleeping in!

Excellent customer service
This hotel has fantastic customer service. Every time that I called the front desk for anything, they would take care of it right away, with a friendly smile on their faces. Very polite, warm, welcoming employees, including the front desk staff, the housekeepers, and the restaurant staff. However, the room was rather small, and the breakfast was very limited (but it is free). The toilet in my room was leaking underneath it’s foundation onto the floor, and the hotel’s room phone did not work, and the electrical outlet did not work either. All of these issues were fixed within 24 hours, which is due to friendly customer service and their motivation to make customers happy. But they really should not be renting out rooms in those conditions until after they have been fixed, instead of waiting for a customer like me to complain about it first. The location of the hotel is in a nice neighborhood, that is relatively close to downtown, but far enough to get some rest. If you like to sleep in late, then I would suggest a room on the back side of the hotel (away from the street noise). The bigger rooms in this hotel are the ones facing the street, and so those are better if you have to wake up earlier in the morning anyways, and thus do not plan on sleeping in late. I would come back here again, if they did some basic maintenance work and/or remodeling, as this building and its rooms are quite old. Needs a facelift.
