I stayed at this property a number of years ago and had no problem, but I must have stayed in a ground floor room. This time I booked a second floor room - it was just a little bit cheaper - so this is on me. But there are NO elevators in the facility, which made it harder for this 71-year-old with arthritis. I've never had to make sure a facility HAD an elevator before...
When I checked in, there was no one at the reception desk. I waited 15 minutes, then called the hotel's number and was immediately put on hold - THEN the one person on duty came to the Front Desk.
Also, I found (to my surprise) that housekeeping is by demand only, and it has to be requested a day in advance. Unacceptable to me and I won't be going back.
