Good Place.. for limited budget..
I had one problem only.. The hotel system cannot find that my reservation is non-refundable and they did not solve this issue until I checked out.
Another thing, the parking lots are very limited.

Awesome Experience in Medina
We had a pretty good experience at Sofarra Al Huda during our visit to Medina last week (Mar 21st, 2017). The hotel is hardly 5 mins of walk to the masjid and close to the gates used by women.

CLOSE TO THE HARAM
AND NEARBY MALLS
NO CLEANING SERVICE MOST OF OUR STAY.
HAD TO BEG FOR TOWELS AND BATHROOM EMENITIES
BINS WERE OVERFLOWING ON OUR FLOOR , AND WERE LEFT IN THE HALLWAYS,
HALLWAYS WERE NEVER CLEANED.
WALLS SWELLING AND PEALING.
WE ASKED 3 TIMES TO ARRANGE TRANSPORT TO MECCA FOR US. EVERYTIME WE WERE TOLD
WILL BE DONE, IT WAS NEVER DONE.
WE DID IT OURSELVES.
BREAKFAST WAS A VARIETY TO CHOOSE FROM, BUT QUALITY OF FOOD WAS POOR.

Very very disappointed
Disappointed, not the same as it used to be, no parking, very very crowded elevators and one even not working. No place to sit in restaurant for breakfast, food quality poor, no variety and strange rude behavior of one of the reception staff

Good location but poor standards
unwelcoming when arrived. very rude. The guy served us did not speak very good English and was hard to understand. hotel condition was below par for a 4 stars. more like a 2 star hotel. out executive triple room was very compact and small. even with all the lights was. it was very dark. bathroom looked ok however the hair dryer did not work. the towel rack was half broken. breakfast selection was poor. when we left the butlers was unhelpful with our luggage to our taxi. it was very upsetting. I would advise anyone against booking with this hotel. there was many hotels in madina so try somewhere else if you want a decent stay.

Worst hotel staff EVER - DON'T STAY
Upon arrival i was told at the hotel that my booking does not exist! The staff stated that Expedia overbooked and therefore I had 30mins to evacuate the hotel and go find another. So, on Christmas day at 9pm i contacted you again several times. On many occasions you cut me off and placed me on hold for minutes wasting my precious time. You then accepted liability but had me go running around Madinah, a city unknown to me which does not speak my language, go ask if they had rooms! What kind behaviour is this from such a reputable company?
A big company like yours will have a record of all emails and calls made to you. I find it absolutely shameful for such a big and reputable company like yours to make such an error of overbooking and leaving me and my family stranded in a foreign country.
On top of all of this I was travelling with my sick child who fell seriously ill on holiday. Instead of making the journey more easy you ended up causing us as a family more problems. The hotel staff did not even try to help us and told us we can't even bring the luggage into the hotel. Expedia or any other company should not use Sofaraa Al Huda Hotel again as the staff members tell you lies. After 6 hours Sofaraa Al Huda Hotel had a shift change and the new shift manager gave us a room at 3 am in the morning until 12pm. so all along there were rooms available and therefore Sofaraa Al Huda Hotel lied to us and expedia.

Umrah trip to madina
Expensive hotel but guess that is reflected by the peak period we stayed there. Regret going half board as breakfast was supposed to be 7am but we had to wait up to 50 mins for the chefs to arrive and set up the egg station. Not great choice either and you have to share tables with strangers.
Evening meals were very bland and of Malaysian menus, which wasn't our cup of tea. We ended up ordering a la carte room service which wasn't great either.
Reception staff and the cleaners were helpful and polite, however that is as good as it got.

Friendly Staff and close to Masjid-Ul-Nabi
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel in Ramadan. The staff was friendly, clean rooms, excellent service, and a nice buffet for Iftar. I would love to stay here again. I have already recommended Sofaara Al Huda Hotel to several people.

Reasonable nearby hotel near masjid al nabawi
Hotel was nice. Rooms were small and expensive for the price. Not a four star!
