The floors in the room were totally uneven. Rooms need some updating. Otherwise our short stay was good.

I wish we had a better experience, but it was very disappointing. The parking lot was in very poor shape. The entire floor smelled like smoke - possibly because of the restaurant and bar downstairs. The room was incredibly outdated. I'm not usually concerned with this, but the bedding was at least 40 years old. I cannot recommend this location.

An older property that has been refurbished over the years. Extremely clean with great amenities. A wonderful place to wind down after a long drive.

The Driftwood Inn surprised me a bit. I was expecting it to be least favorable of all the hotels for my trip around Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. I actually wound up sleeping the best there, and I was able to find grocery and gas options nearby. Parking behind the hotel was always available, even though I didn't see it at first. The one thing that could be improved would be the odor in the lobby that seemed reminiscent of a bowling alley. Otherwise, the Driftwood Inn worked out for what I needed to do.

They use a lot of extension cords. I don't know how safe that is. Pretty dated but clean.
