Great location. 24 Hour Reception. Very Basic Apartment.
Needed a bit of TLC (decorating and a new carpet) Not enough cups. 1 x toilet roll for 6 people.

The location is excellent and the people who work there are very kind and helpful. The property is, as many reviews say, run down and cleanliness is ok but not outstanding. It was hard to find as the name "Birch" is not in the street, you need to go through a hotel with a different name on that address (but street numbers were not super easy to find). However price/location are unbeatable so I'd do it again

Good base in temple bar
Good for what we wanted which was a base for nights out in temple bar. Area outside the apartment was very loud so wouldn't recommend for an early night. Inside the apartment was fine for basic needs. Bathroom was covered in black mould so wouldn't want to spend too long in there. Checking in was a bit confusing as when we booked it was birch apartments and it didn't say anywhere you need to check in to the river house hotel so had to phone them to find it.

Great location but not renovated well.
Smack in the middle of Temple Bar so super convenient. Renovations were shoddy-door to the shower didn’t close all the way so floor got wet. Mattresses clean but cheap and sunk in the middle. Linens were nice and clean. Bulbs out in the front room - mirror not attached to the wall and oven was new but didn’t work. It’s above a rock bar so bands play until 2 or 3am.

Great Location - Bare-bone but perfect for a group
My boyfriend and another couple stayed here for a long weekend from the US. It was perfect for us because it was a great location (right next to temple bar - close to trinity college and other attractions). It was definitely not luxury but a perfect simple, cheap, apartment style rooms. We had two small bedrooms for each couple + a living room with a couch, kitchen table and kitchenette. Would def recommend it

Dublin weekender.
On arrival we were met by friendly staff who sorted us out with keys and directions to the apartment.
Three rooms adequately furnished as advertised.
Yes it could do with a little tidying up but you do not go to Dublin to sit in your room. This is a hard worker building but for the money asked was good value between six thirsty lads.
Would use again but would baggy the single beds next time.

Great for a friends trip to Dublin!
The area was perfect, and so close to everything we wanted to go to but the bathrooms and kitchenette seemed a little run down. The bedrooms were all bright and cheery. The neighboring bars are a little loud at night, so this wouldn't be a good spot for a family but a young adult trip to Dublin where you'll be drinking and having fun- couldn't ask for a better place to stay in regards to location. Wi-fi is pretty crummy, but overall good choice for my 21st birthday trip!!

convenient and cheap hotel good for group stays
We had problem with the shower as the water clogged up. We called the reception and despite the busy desk (because the hotel was fully booked tonight) they were able to attend to us the soonest they were able to. Staff were friendly.
