I recently spent an enjoyable couple of nights in this hostel. It's a nice, friendly hostel in a great central location. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was pretty good which included fruit and also, free tea/coffee all day which is a nice extra as not all hostels provide this. I needed some help a few times and the staff were really excellent at this, in particular Martha and Leire where they allowed me to use the hostel laptop for a short time to do things instead of on my mobile making it easier for what I had to do. They also gave great recommendations re extra bus companies I wasn't aware of and good places to eat.
There were only a few things I didn't like (as overall I enjoyed my stay in the hostel): As others have mentioned, the lower bunk. Normally, I always request this as I am an older traveller and it is usually beneficial but in this instance not, as awkward getting up (didn't realise this beforehand as not usual in hostels). Also, the main thing I didn't like was there were no security locks on the shower doors in the unisex toilet/shower rooms. I found this really annoying and unsafe for women especially late at night when less people using them. (This is 2024 and is a serious matter so should be taken seriously for women's safety!). I think I mentioned this when I stayed here years ago but nothing seems to have changed. It's a pity as it is a really nice hostel otherwise.
