Constantly disturbed
Overall, not a bad hotel. Staff were initially welcoming.
However, I booked 2 nights, rather than 1 night and a late check out as I would be using the room until around midnight on the second night so felt it more appropriate to try get a sleep before my flight. At around 1820, the phone rang in my room whilst trying to nap to invite me to some christmas event in the lobby. They weren't to know I was napping but I said no thank you and advised I was trying to sleep before an early flight. No apology, suggesting they didn't really understand what I was saying. At around 9pm the phone rang *again* in the room asking if I could bring my passport to reception as they forgot to take a photo copy. Really frustrating as I told them I was trying to sleep and would be checking out around midnight. Again, no apology. I then went to ask to speak to a manager who said he'd try sort something for check out - I asked for some kind of partial refund as I couldn't get the required peace and quiet use out of the room that I paid for which I think is reasonable but alas, no.
Really left a bad taste in my mouth and for that reason, just hope you won't have problems as they're unlikely to offer any kind of gesture by way of apology and they really can't read as to whether someone wants to be disturbed or not.
