Never had such a terrible experience in my entire
When we reached the hotel, we were told that there were no available rooms!!! We were not even the only ones there, there were a few other people who were stranded as well. According to the counter staff, there were 8 bookings made for rooms which were not even available. This is completely unacceptable as we did not even receive any email/sms/calls or anything to inform us of the situation (yet when asked they said that they have indeed received our information - so then why did they not contact us?), and we had travelled 10km down to the hotel just for the stay. She said that she contacted the management to arrange for alternative arrangements however, she is not sure how long that will take. After waiting for a long while and since it was past 12:30am, we decided to pay a much higher premium for another room type at that same hotel.
There were NO free toiletries as claimed by the hotel. Also, there was a severe case of bed bugs, and my friend and I woke up with close to 20 bites all over our bodies.
I have had such a terrible experience in my entire life.
