Although small, the riad is sumptuously decorated with portraits, paintings and other tasteful oldie-worldie collections. The location is superb, right next to Bahia Palace and a big square where there are many cafes and restaurants, notably the Kosybar (with a terrase of the city and Atlas mountain view). Koutoubia and Jamaa El Fna is a 10 minute walk through either narrow street of shops or a bigger road where there are beautiful gardens of Koutoubia and Cyber park or the souk and snake charmers on the Jamaa El Fna. 5 minutes' walk will get you through the square to the Old Royal Palace of Badi. Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The owner Gloria is elegant, friendly and informative, she was there to receive us and upgraded us to a bigger room for a few days (as the bookings allowed) because it's our wedding anniversary. The night manager Abduleh (apologies if I spelt it wrong) speaks French and English, served us beautiful breakfasts, when I mentioned I missed having sausages , they appeared on our plate next day. I could't manage the hackling with the locals in the souks, when he knows I would like to get a few local souvenirs, he went out and bought me a set of colourful tea glasses, a tajine, and another day got me 4 bottles of100% Argan oil, all at the price of the local people would pay. I cannot thank him enough. Gloria is so kind and generous to us that we are very grateful. We had a lovely stay in this riad and would go back again.
