Faulty Towers
When we got into our hotel room, we sat on the bed and noticed a dip. When we lifted up the mattress there was a piece of wood holding up the bed as some of the bed was missing. The room is very small and the curtains had a few stains on them. The bathroom sink had a drain and every so often flies would come out of it. The shower had a strange smell when turned on and there was no dip where the drain was so the water would flood everywhere causing us to use all of our towels as a means to stop the water from flooding out. Other than these faults it was okay to stay in. The service was good and the location is excellent. Basically, if your looking for a bed to lie on and nothing more, then this is the place to go.

Not so nice stay..
Hotel was under construction and we weren’t made aware of this until we got to the hotel. Rooms looked real tired and well used. One side of hotel was all very narrow stairs to the rooms with cold and Gloomy corridor. The other side of the hotel was nice but this wasn’t for Hotel.com or booking.com customers. We didn’t have breakfast but we walked past it every morning and it looked amazing. Hotel lobby was very very nice being recently refurbished. We had two rooms for five nights. Room one had a heating problem which they couldn’t fixed and in the end gave us a portable heater which wasn’t sufficient to heat the room. Room two already had a portable heater and an out of order sign on the heating controls. The TV didn’t work. Both had a very nice bathrooms which had been recently refurbished. In my personal opinion I would not stop here again

Clean, excellent staff and great location
Upon arrival our room was ready for us to check in at around 9am, we were given a choice of rooms and the lady on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself was a little out dated and the bathroom small but it was clean and tidy which was all that was needed. We could not use the shower unfortunately as it couldn’t be positioned any other way than spraying directly onto the back wall which was of no use. This was not such an issue as we also had a bath. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty of food to choose from. Upon departure, we were able to store our luggage in a safe room before our late night flight. The hotel is in a good location on the same street as all the designer shops and around 3 minutes walk from the Rijks Museum, also, 15 minutes walk from the centre and almost opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. We would definitely go there again!

Very good 8.0
A great location for the museums and an easy walk to all the central attractions. Good service and attentive staff, the only draw back was the en-suite bathroom which had a glass door that didn't give any privacy!!

Amsterdam
The hotel is situated in a bustling area with tons of things to do. It had a great breakfast spread, with meats, breads, cheeses, yogurt, etc. the hotel is going through a renovation, so there are things that can be overlooked. We were in one floor beneath the ground floor, so a triple. The room was adequate, nothing bad, I was only there for 2 nights, basically to sleep and shower. The hallway leading to the room was the only thing that I had any problems with. It smells so bad like mold, and dirtiness and was very putrid. The staff was extremely courteous, and provided us with an excellent restaurant recommendation. I would stay here again on a return trip to Amsterdam.
