Antico Palazzo Scala, Sorrento, Italy

The front desk staff were amazing - very helpful. The room was very clean and we loved our rooftop patio. We spend much time out there. The location was right in walking distance to the main shopping and restaurants. The room was a little bit dated but very clean so we did not care.

The location was amazing. Only an 8 minute walk from Sorrento train station, restaurants in every direction (I recommend Sant’Antonios), and we were within lnly a few minutes of the beach, bars, a club, and 2 supermarkets. We had an apartment within the hotel which was lovely, clean and spacious. We had a large open kitchen/dining area/lounge, a kitchen stocked with utensils and a large, comfortable main bed. Only comments if I’m being very picky - the extra bed we had as a group of 3 was quite short/small/hard, the balcony was too small to sit on comfortably, and we heard the neighbours a couple of times. The service was good, the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. More toilet roll should be provided in the rooms, or given during the stay, but the staff were very obliging when we asked and also gave us clean towels when we asked too. Overall a fantastic experience, glad I chose this hotel and I would stay here again in the future.

Very good apartment in the middle of Sorrento. Great location, great and spacious apartment. Would have loved to stay longer

This is not a hotel in the traditional sense of the word. It is a group of rental apartments. They were very good you got a lot for your money but of course there is no level of service as you would get in a traditional hotel. For a family it would be great as the apartment was a good size with two bedrooms plus lounge. It was very centrally situated but you have to fend for yourself when it comes to finding somewhere to park your car and then getting your luggage to the apartment. It served a purpose for us and we enjoyed our stay
