100% would stay again!
The best part of this hotel is the architectural features which the owner has kept and respected the history of the building, which used to be a train station. Everything from the rooms to the restaurant downstairs are absolutely beautiful. I wish I could live here! We checked in on a weekday night, and had no communication problems with the owner despite the fact that my husband and I do not speak German. Our room was very comfortable, we had a bedroom, a living room with a pullout couch which was very comfortable, and a small kitchen complete with a refrigerator and stove top . The bathroom had a huge soaking tub which was wonderful. I cannot comment on the restaurant because it was not open on the day that we were there. However, the simple breakfast in the morning was great! 5 stars, from check in to checkout!

Sehr schönes Hotel im Hunsrück
Wir waren vor einer Woche für eine Nacht in dem Bahnhof Thalfang. Leider nur eine Nacht. Wir haben in Deutschland schon in vielen 4 und 5 Sterne Hotels übernachtet. Dies war mal was ganz anderes. Im dem alten umgebauten Bahnhof hatten wir ein sehr schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer mit einer hervorragenden Einrichtung. Abends haben wir in den Restaurant des Hotels gegessen. Auch wir waren wir über die frisch zubereiteten Speisen angenehm überrascht. Das Restaurant ist zweifelsfrei ohne Abstriche weiter zu empfehlen. Einfach Spitze.

Kein Empfang, niemand im Haus. Auf telefonische Nachfrage wurde mir gesagt, wo ich den Schlüssel finde. Das WLAN hat nicht funktioniert. Dies hat die später erschienene Gastgeberin aber nicht wirklich gekümmert. Lieber nicht mehr dahin!

Das Hotel ist so weit in Ordnung. Was ich beanstande ist die linke Tour, mir ein Doppelzimmer zu berechnen, obwohl ich von Hotels.com eine schriftliche Bestätigung hatte, dass ein Einzelzimmer frei sei. Auch die Mehrkosten für einen Hund hat das Hotel im Internet nicht erwähnt. So schafft man sich keine Freunde.

Sehr schön Hotel, wie ein Bahnhof
Dieses Hotel koennen wir nur empfehlen, wenn mann im Bahnhofhotel ein schönen Übernachtung erleben möchte :-). Für uns und unsere Kinder, die die Lokomotive, die Züge und die Bahnhöfe sehr sehr lieben, das war eine Senzation :-). Ganz oben war unseres Zimmer , dort 2 Räume, separate fuer uns und für die Kinder, auch die Kochnische und Kühlschrank. Wenn mann die Rühe möchte haben und nur die Natur sehen, das ist ein guter Ort. Mit alles dort wären wir sehr zufrieden. Wir empfehlen euch das Hotel probieren und übernachten. Eva
