Great Hotel - Messed up Reservation

We had requested a twin room as it was my daughter and I travelling together and even called two days before arriving and confirmed we had a twin room only to show up and it was a double bed. Went and talked to girl at front desk and she said they were full, she was going to switch but said she would get in a lot of trouble so we toughed it out for the night. Local area is amazing, a lot of food, grocery, gas options around as well as some great views. The restaurant in the hotel smelled incredible, taste buds were watering. The breakfast that was included with the room was outstanding, a lot of selection and tasted great!

This was a nice hotel. .. which was good because they closed Route 1 and we got stuck here. Luckily they had availability so they could accommodate us another night. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. The only drawback (which all of our Iceland hotels have had) is that there is no elevator. Luckily there are not a lot of levels to carry your bags up and down. We stayed the extra night there because we were vey happy with it.

    Meh

The room itself was fine. It was weird that there was no one posted at reception. We had to ring the bell multiple times and wait for someone to come. Which we always felt like we were taking them away from another job. And there wasn’t anything super close by and a lot of things closed by 6pm which is hard when you need to get dinner
