2/10 Poor

This property is for the adventurous
First, this is not a hotel, nor an executive-type apartment. It is a run-down apartment (see photo of the couch that has a big hole in it) in a group of run-down apartment blocks (see photo of entrance to building with soot from a fire). With so many units, while the parking is free, available spaces can be quite a distance away. Had to walk several blocks each time. There is a limited ability to respond if any issues arise. The proprietor appears not to be in the country, based on the cell phone number; and while the local contact is a very nice person, he’s two hours away and subject to train schedules.
Secondly, make note of the large cash deposit requirement. No receipt will be provided; you are informed to “trust” the proprietor that it will be returned. Asking for a receipt is grounds for termination (which happened to me at 11:40pm, causing a scramble for a new room that Hotels.com kindly assisted with).
So this is perfect for those looking at an unique BnB-type adventure. For those looking for a professional hotel or hotel-like experience, you may wish to continue your search.
