This nice quiet little hotel is tucked away down a little side street - but is not without it's little quirks.
I did book late - so options where to put me, could have been limited - and the room was entry level.
The room was small - but adequate for a single occupant.
Clean and comfortable, and exceptionally quiet. The bed was top tier - firm, but comfy, with immaculate pillows and linen.
Room was well equipped - Kettle, mini bar, slippers, dressing gown etc.
However, the soap from the dispensers was very weak - take your own!!
View from the window was just a brick wall about five feet away - so natural daylight was virtually non-existent.
The staff were fine for the most part, the lady at check-in
and another young girl were helpful - as was the the gentleman on the night shift who went above and beyond.
One member of staff, whom I saw infrequently (just twice) I didn't like her attitude.
One disconcerting aspect of my stay was the handrail at the bottom of the stairs - not sturdy in the least - and would certainly be a safety issue where I'm from.
Overall, a nice, quiet hotel, situated close to the town center - where I would stay again - but I would pay a little extra next time for a room which afforded me a little more space and hopefully a better view.
