This was the highlight of our tour of Europe. The room has been remodeled recently and was beautiful. It had a large balcony with unobstructed views of the sea where we watched the lights of Capri and Sorrento come up at sunset.
The grounds of the property are beautiful with trees and purple bougainvilleas creating cavernous living walkways between the building and the parking lot and street entrance.
Upon arrival, our host asked what we liked for breakfast and each morning, he had a table beautifully set for us including the items we had requested plus juice, cappuccino, Italian bread, and other items.
The best part was the host. He was warm and friendly and was a wealth of information about the area. He gave us tips on how to get into Pompeii through a less crowded entrance with no long lines. And he showed us where we could park for only 2 euro for the whole day. The restaurants he recommended were phenomenal and he even had someone pick us up and drop us off for dinner one evening because parking near the restaurant was impossible.
There were only two minor things I would suggest for improvement. First, the exterior of the building needs maintenance due to the jungle of flowers and trees surrounding it. And, with the heat in Naples, A/C would have made it more comfortable. But he provided very powerful fans that did keep the air moving enough to make up for the lack of A/C. (He told us A/C was being installed this summer, so they may have it now.)
