No trip to Sapporo would be complete without an afternoon at Odori Park, a popular park in Chuo-ku. Want to stretch your legs a little more? Head to Hokkaido University Botanic Garden, just a short walk away.
If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Tanukikoji Shopping Street in Sapporo City Centre. Splash some more cash at Susukino Street, Nijo Market and Daimaru Sapporo.
If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Nakajima Park in Chuo-ku. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Want to stretch your legs a little more? Head to Odori Park and Maruyama Park, both nearby.
"Airport bus service was great.
Walking distance to Sapporo station, Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Tanukikoji Shopping, Nijo Market, Susikino.
Lots of places to eat close by."
"Great staff and willing to help someone that doesn’t know Japanese. Hotel room was always neat and stocked on things that were offered and used. It’s right by the Sapporo station and malls. Not too far from the famous Tanukikoji Shopping Street. They also have a 7-eleven across the street as well!! "
"Hotel was walking distance from the Sapporo Station and to most of the downtown sights. Loved the lounge access which enabled us to enjoy a glass of wine/sake with local delicacies. I highly recommend upgrading to get this benefit. The room was definitely more spacious than our rooms in Tokyo and Kyoto. Loved how the hotel showcase local goods and ingredients. Staff was super kind and friendly. Will come back with our kids here someday! "
